Special Moment to share this is the place to go or a romantic evening. Just want an upper scale happy hour this also will fit the mark. Staff is extremely friendly- the main reason l go - sometimes l just like to have great service and Mitchell's doesn't disappoint. Drinks are made very well. The best thing for me on my visit was chocolate mousse and jalapeño scalloped potatoes. My calamari was just ok. I also tried a new dish to me tenderloin duet off prix fix and it was cooked very well.

We came here for my birthday and received fantastic service!! The hosts were very friendly & they even placed birthday confetti on my table. Most of the food was fantastic, and came out pretty quickly. The Caesar salad had a strong vinegar taste to me, but the rest of the food was delicious. We loved the warm bread they brought out in the beginning, with the dessert being the only thing that we enjoyed more. The manager came out to check on us during our meal & make sure everything turned out okay, and the server, Nicole, was very friendly our whole visit. 10/10 would come back here again

I was in Columbus for work and was lucky enough to be able to meet up with a friend for dinner. She suggested Mitchell's which was within walking distance of my hotel. I was there in December so the restaurant was decorated for Christmas with lots of white lights, poinsettias, and trees. Add onto that dark wood, crisp linens, and comfy booths and the atmosphere was really lovely. We passed on appetizers and grabbed a couple drinks and ordered the filet with Robuchon mashed potatoes. The steaks were seasoned well and cooked as requested. The mashed potatoes were honestly a joke - I know Robuchon style potatoes are supposed to be super creamy and really a conveyance for butter and cream, but these were super loose and severely under salted. I don't remember what drink I had but remember it tasted good. Service was great and for a slow weekday evening, our server was nice and let us linger since she knew we were catching up after not seeing each other for many years. I've been to numerous "fancy" steakhouses over the years and the food here was nothing special. But the ambiance and great service made up for it kicking up my rating to 4 stars.

We came in tonight for dinner before the show. The food was very good especially the ribeye and scallop potatoes. Nicole was our server, and she was great. We will be back soon.

Had a wonderful dinner before the Broadway in Columbus Show Tuesday night! Nicole was our server, as she has been for years now before each show--she provides exceptional service, remembering our drink orders as well as our regular dinner orders each time we dine in! My steak was cooked to perfection, as it always is, and the French onion soup, asparagus, and chocolate mousse were fantastic as well! Thank you, Nicole, and thank you Mitchell's!

I had the wonderful opportunity to have dinner recently at Mitchell's downtown. I was more than happy with my experience, the server was incredible and knew a lot about the menu. The food was delicious, we loved the lobster mac and cheese! I would recommend coming here to everyone.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent service. To start we ordered a sushi roll, (spicy tuna) and a couple of cocktails. Both of our drinks were fantastic. We ordered steaks and my filet Oscar was excellent. I requested rare and it was done to perfection. As stated, our server was engaging and very attentive. I think the price is reasonable and matches the quality of food and service well. Highly recommend Mitchell's.

We came here for a business dinner and had an incredible experience. About 14 people. The process to reserve the room was very easy. Tamara was helpful and showed me all the options we had. When we got to the dinner, the table was set up nicely and the room was beautiful and intimate. Our servers, Lillian and Nick, were complete rock stars and very professional. They quickly got us anything we needed and kept coming around to check on us. They were also very knowledgeable on the menu and wine selections and pairings. The food was AMAZING. Really well presented and flavorful. Only a couple of shortfalls - the lobster bisque was OK, but not the best I've ever had, and no lumps of lobster in it, and the asparagus was not my favorite - too thick and grassy/greenery tasting. Otherwise, the food was so good. I got the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the BEST I've ever had! Lots of flavor and the meat was buttery and easy to cut through. The sides: mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts were great, too! They had 4 options for our dessert that was nearly impossible to choose from. I ended up with the NY cheesecake and it was to die for. I was so full I couldn't even finish it haha. I highly recommend this restaurant for a business dinner or a date night.
